I am trying to find out about an old friend and the only information I have on them is an e-mail address. I don't mind if I have to throw in a few bucks to get some information either...I just need the name of an accurate, legal, legit web site, especially if I'm willing to pay for this. Got any recommendations? My favorite answer will receive a free 10 points, a virtual chocolate cake, and my eternal gratitude, of course. Thanks ya'll!

There are services that claim -- for a fee -- to tell you the name and perhaps the address associated with an e-mail address. Frankly, I don't want to pay; it is not that important. Are there any free services or other techniques for finding this information?

I want to know who this is-

Thank you Maria, I know you get what you pay for right, lol. The truth is I don't want a record of my search. You have to pay with a credit card and that statement is not for my eyes only. I did try sending an e-mail to this address and it was returned -
unknown, illeagle allias - I've never even heard of that before.
Could spammers use a road runner/time warner address?
